The National University of Singapore Tamil Language Society (NUS TLS) is a student organisation established in 1975, dedicated to uplifting the Indian community academically and culturally while promoting the Tamil language and heritage. NUS TLS organises major initiatives such as the Singapore Tamil Youth Conference (STYC), which engages youths in structured discussions on key socio-political issues affecting the Tamil Indian community, as well as Sangae Muzhangu, one of Singapore’s most well-known Tamil theatre productions that nurtures young writers, performers and creatives.
