Kutcheri in a Kafé reimagines Indian classical music for anyone craving a chill Sunday, a solid cup of coffee, and great sound up close. Whether you grew up with the art form or have never stepped foot into a classical concert before, this is an easy, open doorway in.
For this pilot edition at Bricolage, we are turning the standard dynamic on its head by putting percussion right at the centre of the room. The performance features Sai Akileshwar on mridangam, Sai Vigneshwar on vocals, Sreeranjani Muthu Subramanian on violin, and Dr. Tony Makarome on double bass.
It’s an intimate daytime session built on good rhythm, food, conversation, and community!
