Calling all mothers, hobby singers, and families! Join us for a session of traditional Naatuppura Paattu (folk singing).
ATAM Ltd is organizing the Nam Marabu Series Folk Singing workshop at National Library @ 100 Victoria Street on 14/03/2026 from 9am to 12pm.
The workshop will be led by Ms Suganthi K. Trained in the village of Sithapuram Ms. Suganthi holds a BA in Music. She shattered the stigma that folk singers cannot master mainstream melody by appearing on Vijay TV’s Super Singer 7 and recording for Maestro Ilaiyaraaja in the film Viduthalai Part 2.
Do be informed that the session will be largely held in Tamil, but participants of all backgrounds are welcome to join in on this experience.
